Proud of your ride? We haven’t even seen it yet, but we can still say we don’t blame you. Whatever you’ve done, you’ve taken a mass-produced or robot-assembled vehicle and turned it in to a hand-worked, one-of-a-kind expression of your automotive passion.

Post your car and development story on our site! Share your passion with your “brothers-in-rodz.” Be sure to include key words for your blog in the “Labels” box when you post — that way RodzReaders will be able to find you and your post!

F & F Auto Clinic, Inc. in Bothell, WA does quality work!

It's difficult to miss Ed Vonderahe's F & F Auto Clinic, Inc on Bothell-Everett Highway. Of course-his company is all about cars. Check out his 1964 T-Bird that he's standing by. He's been the proud owner of his ride since he was 15 years old. Ed has a number of other classic vehicles that he will share with Mantis at a later date.
The '57 T-Bird and '74 AMX will be in his shop shortly-those are real gems too! Check out Ed's site. His team has loads of experience and takes pride in their workmanship/quality. Check out George's 1954 Chevrolet Pick-Up

Mantis knows what a great place the Pacific Northwest is and so does George from North Seattle. He's proud of his '54 and has a great story behind it. George worked in the Seattle area for a number of years and then moved to Chicago. He's familiar with a number of other cities around the nation-and has family in Kansas City. George and his wife missed the Pacific Northwest and moved back.
His Chevy Pick-Up was restored by Midwest Hot Rods-and they did a spectacular job. Shipping his car back to the Seattle area was interesting, but Midwest Hot Rods does it with ease. Mantis sure would like to see some photos of the Chevy before or during the restoration. Any photos available? Thanks again George!

Jim and Eltrina Rose's racing machine.

Sometimes you meet friends in unusual places. Steve of Mantis Rodz was just getting to the Seattle Roadster Show to get set up. His partner-Kevin will be arriving soon with the "Praying Mantis." Eltrina Rose knew that Steve needed to have a visitor pass to get in the door and gladly passed her's to Steve. She mentioned that her husband was getting their "Mustang Racer" dialed for the show. Legends Car Club unites at the Seattle Roadster Show

Cruzin with a car club is a lot of fun. Mantis Rodz has a vendor booth right across a club that sports some classic '50s and '60s rides. Here are a few cars for your viewing pleasure! The 1964 Chevrolet is a 2 Door Sport Coupe, 327ci/300hp, 4SPcr, 4.10oar...it's color is Midnight Blue Metalic and all factory original. Mantis will work on getting the specs on this 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS-2 door hardtop.

Their display is nostalgic and packed with '50s and '60s memorabilia. See Marilyn Monroe stare at you-and walk down memory lane with record sleeves of Jerry Lee Lewis, The Wailers and Roy Orbison. Don't miss out on James Dean. This Legends Car Club is a lot of fun. Hope that you were able to check them out at the Seattle Roadster Show. Thanks again Ken and the group!

Pontiac Photo Beginning

This is what my Pontiac Cheiftain looked like for$400. See my other blog for my after pic. The frame raiks are in the mud, mid winter. 3 days later I picked the car up 5 inchs of snow on the ground 1 crane 2 flatbeds and a lot of pulling later it came out of the ground. Unbelivable these are the original tires they still hold air. I was asked not to tear the nice people yard up. I bought the car and now look at it.

1957 Pontiac Chiefain

I bought this car for $400. Nothing on the car, it was all inside, so alot of cleaning and assembling. It did not run so 1 battery cable, fuel pump, and a battery it fired right up. This is all after 5 months nonstop. 65,448 original miles 347ci, V8 runs like a champ.
