Proud of your ride? We haven’t even seen it yet, but we can still say we don’t blame you. Whatever you’ve done, you’ve taken a mass-produced or robot-assembled vehicle and turned it in to a hand-worked, one-of-a-kind expression of your automotive passion.

Post your car and development story on our site! Share your passion with your “brothers-in-rodz.” Be sure to include key words for your blog in the “Labels” box when you post — that way RodzReaders will be able to find you and your post!

What do you think of this 1951 Chevy Pick-Up?

Mantis was at the right place and time to meet Chris out of Edmonds, WA. Check out his '51 Chevy-what an awesome ride. It's rare to get a sunny day around the Pacific Northwest in the month of February, but it's such a treat to see the classics as this one.

The '51 houses a 396 High Performance Engine, 700R Transmission and 12 bolt posi. What do the rodzreaders think about the ostrich interior?

Mantis looks forward to having Chris become a member to discuss more about his pick-up and other rides. Thanks again for the opportunity Chris. Make sure and tell your friends about the site-and have your one friend check out the "Praying Mantis" Handy Man Gasser Wagon!

Mantis spotted another awesome Pick-Up: 1954 F-100

Look at this cool rig that Mantis ran across in Everett, Wa. The featured ride is a 1954, F-100 Pick-Up. It houses a 302, 5-speed manual transmission, posi and four-wheel disc brakes. The owner mentioned that he is modifying the transmission, but Mantis will leave that for Tom to discuss in a later entry. Tom Jensen owns Pacific Western Design (Rain Gear), a company that designs windshield wiper systems for hot rods. His company's web site is Pacific Western Designs. Cruise on over to Tom's site and check it out.
